In plastic surgery both terms are generally used and mean the same. I do not know of any pills to take to do this? The company that we use is Mentor and they believe there no long term side effects. Dr. Ward has been in practice 25 years here in the Valley and we rarely see any complications of the implant. We see mostly poor surgery implantation from their original surgery as in pocket not made right etc and then have to re-do surgery.
